Accufoam CC-HFO Closed-Cell Spray Foam
Accufoam CC-HFO, sold by our supplier as Accufoam 2.0# HFO Closed Cell, is our main closed-cell foam. It is what we spray on steel buildings, rim joists, crawl spaces and anywhere water contact is possible. Every number here comes from the manufacturer's data sheet.
In short
Closed-cell, low GWP
A medium-density foam. The data sheet describes it as low GWP and zero ODP.
R-24 at 3.5 inches
R-7.5 at 1 inch and R-24 at 3.5 inches (ASTM C518), per the data sheet.

Re-entry 1 hour and re-occupancy 2 hours with 10 air changes per hour (ASTM D8445).
Accufoam CC-HFO is an Accufoam product from Birmingham, Alabama, and we buy it through Pro Foam. The data sheet lists it for thermal insulation and as a vapor and air barrier.
Where we use it
Closed-cell foam goes on steel buildings, rim joists and crawl spaces, barndominiums and anywhere water contact is possible. The Department of Energy notes that closed-cell foam has a greater R-value and stronger resistance to moisture and air leakage than open-cell. For attic rooflines and interior walls we use open-cell, such as Accufoam AF1.

Attics and crawl spaces
The data sheet states that it complies with the applicable requirements of AC377 Appendix X for use in attics and crawl spaces without a prescriptive ignition barrier. Whether that applies to your space depends on how the space is used and on the code, so ask us about yours.
